Grading is used to slope the land for controlled flow of water. This will prevent water logging and erosion of soil. Any kind of prolonged water logging can kill the plants and grass. Good landscape grading will ensure cheaper upkeeping and maintenance. The top soil is removed and pounded and leveled in to slopes where needed. Irrigation lines are also installed during this time. Mesh or geogrid can also aid prevent soil erosion. Once everything is setup the topsoil is leveled on top and finally graded for long-lasting and easy maintenance.
